Extreme! Nature and culture on the Humboldt Current

Dual system

The first “advance exhibition” of the Humboldt Forum was dedicated to the Humboldt Current, a region of extremes. Man and nature are closely intertwined here, with a mutually tangible influence. The highly unpredictable fluctuations of the El Niño weather phenomenon have serious consequences not only for the environment, but also for the global economy. The typographical concept of the exhibition uses interlinked text blocks to reference the quantifiable duality of nature and culture.
